Vote for Name Change -- Deadline December 31, 2025
Dear MWWC Members:
At the most recent meeting of the MWWC Board of Directors, as part of our efforts to modernize the organization and provide additional resources and services to MWWC members, there was discussion relating to updating the name from Missouri Water & Wastewater Conference to Missouri Water & Wastewater Association. As a valued member of MWWC, we would appreciate your input and are writing to request your approval of the proposed name change for our organization.
This proposed change is intended to better reflect the full scope of our mission and activities. While our annual conference and section meetings remain our focus and core programs, the organization will continue to provide year-round education, professional development, advocacy, networking, and resources that extend well beyond a single annual event and section meetings. The term “Association” more accurately represents who we will become and the value we provide to our members and the broader water and wastewater community in Missouri.
Importantly, this change would affect only the organization’s name. Our mission, governance structure, membership benefits, and existing programs will remain the same with additional services slated for implementation in the immediate future.
Your input is needed and appreciated. To vote on the name change from Missouri Water & Wastewater Conference to Missouri Water & Wastewater Association please VOTE HERE. The voting will close at 5PM on December 31st, 2025.
